Communities
We believe God has a heart to see people in Bridgend and throughout Wales come to know his love and salvation. As a church we are committed to mission in Bridgend and throughout the world. Throughout the year we hold a number of events designed to connect with the locality and give people the opportunity to find out about Jesus.
Louisiana Partnership
Since 2009 we have worked in partnership with local churches and First West Church, Louisiana, USA to work in local schools and retirement schemes in the community. This annual mission is already reaping great rewards and people have come to know Jesus throughout the borough. The Louisiana Partnership is a ten year committment to seeing lives changed.
Schools & Conferencing
Each year local schools and community organisations use our building in Bridgend to hold events and meetings. This is building strong relationships with organisations and is making the church accessible and known to many people.
Parent & Toddler Group
Each Friday in term time we hold a Parent & Toddler group in Brigend and Maesteg. This is a vital resource for many parents and provides an opportunity for children to have fun and for parents to make friends and find out more about the church. Parent & Toddlers starts at 10am until 12pm.
Kid’s Club
Kid’s Club meets on a Thursday evening in Bridgend and is open to children from the local community. For more details please contact the church office.
Ladies Evenings
Throughout the year a number of events are held for ladies. Some of these are ministry evenings which focus on worship and teaching. Other such as the Ladies Christmas evening are open to the community and seek to raise money for charitable causes.
Hands of Compassion
Each year the church seeks to meet the needs of those in the community who are suffering from financial hardship. Thanks to the generosity of church members we are able to provide Christmas hampers to many families and financial help to others.
The Global Church Community
As a Church, we also believe God wants us to support Christians in other countries. We support a number of people serving God throughout the world and also support Open Doors, an organisation working with persecuted Christians worldwide.
