MEMBERSHIP AT THE VINE

Belonging to a local church is vital if you want to grow as a Christian.

Members of the Vine are people who have decided that this church is where God has placed them to serve Him.

People wishing to become members must be ‘born again’ Spirit filled Christians and be (or have been) baptised by full immersion in water. We also look for three qualities in those who wish to join us:

1. They agree with the Vision that God has given the leadership of the church.

“Can two walk together, except they be agreed?”

Amos 3v3

2. They want to come and serve God in seeing the Vision fulfilled.

“David went out to meet them, and said to them,

If you come to me in friendship to help me,

my heart will be joined to you:

but if to betray me to my enemies,

although there is no wrong in my hands,

then may the  God of our fathers see, and rebuke you.”

1 Chron 12v17

3. They believe that the Holy Spirit has led them to be placed in the Vine and joined to us
